Hobo Sound is a multi-room recording studio located minutes from NYC with fast easy access via car, ferry, and port authority bus terminal. The studio has a spacious live room with high ceilings and no parallel surfaces, ample isolation, and a comfortable, accurate control room featuring an API 1608 console and ATC monitoring. We are fully equipped for both analog and digital recording and mixing, and have a curated selection of modern and vintage microphones, outboard equipment, and instruments. The studio can easily accommodate full basic tracking as well as overdubs, and offers tie lines for microphones in every room, including the lounge. In addition to the main studio there is a mix/editing suite, suitable for all mixing duties and simple overdubs.
